After years of conducting research focused on strategies to support people having better lives, I switched my career to focus on supporting pet parents to have a stronger relationship with their dog while promoting the best welfare for their animal. Just like people, each dog is their own individual. I’d like to work with you to create a plan that helps you and your dog address behavioral challenges that currently impact your lives.
Coming from a human focused background that sees benefits of empowering individuals, I believe that providing choice and agency can help your dog have a fulfilling life with you. Together we will utilize a framework that seeks to meet an individual dog’s needs in order to address issues ranging from mild annoyances to struggles that are greatly impacting the quality of life for everyone in the home.
I ascribe to LIMA (Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive) principles grounded in positive training methods that are force-free and fear free. While there are never any guarantees with behavior, together, we will jointly develop realistic goals to make sure everyone's needs are met.
Let’s have a conversation to see if we can work together to improve the quality of life for you and your pet.
WHAT CLIENTS ARE SAYING:
Working with Tracy has been so amazing! She has helped me and my pup who has separation anxiety and other general anxiety gain more confidence and finally see progress! She was always easy to contact and replied to my emails between sessions very quickly. Tracy was willing to review all the videos I posted and give feedback that has been sooooo helpful! I’ve seen more improvement in two months working with Tracy than I have in the three years of having my pup. I have more confidence and knowledge for knowing my dog’s body language, create more opportunities for enrichment, and stay consistent with his training. Working with Tracy was a huge game changer for me and I can’t recommend her enough!
